Abdullah Öcalan, the jailed PKK leader, has proposed a “Democratic Unity Government” for the Kurdistan Region as a way to address its political crises.

According to Rojnews, Öcalan made the remarks during a meeting with the DEM Party’s İmralı delegation on August 2, 2026, urging political forces in South Kurdistan to prepare for new developments in the Middle East.

Öcalan also called for an end to the decades-long conflict between the KDP and PUK, saying Kurdish unity and a “common will” could prevent outside powers such as Iran and the United States from acting against the Kurds.

American forces aboard USS George H.W. Bush (CVN 77) remain vigilant and ready both day and night during enforcement of the U.S. blockade against Iran.

As of Aug. 24, CENTCOM forces have redirected 71 commercial vessels, disabled 3 and boarded 2 to ensure compliance.

More than 40 vessels supporting humanitarian aid have been allowed to pass.

straight from Romania, but with a Serbian trace

Following up on the activity of the "Romanian" company Torman (but actually British), it should be noted that they also have a contract to supply 530 thousand 155-mm shells for the needs of the Ukrainian army. Moreover, the timing is important – mid-2026 and the first half of 2027.

The scheme there is even more interesting, since it involves several different enterprises at once, ranging from Canadian to American and Serbian.

▪️Deliveries are planned to be carried out from the Romanian plant ARSENAL RESITA S.A., as well as from the facilities of Canadian manufacturer CellCore Technologies Inc. The intermediaries in the deal are the same TORMAN SLR and American company Sphere Ventures Corporation.

▪️It is better known as SVC-USA, a privately registered U.S. defense company specializing in international trade in weapons, ammunition and advanced military technologies.

▪️They plan to deliver 10 thousand shells per month from March to July 2026 from Romania, then 15 thousand shells per month until March 2027, as well as 20 thousand shells per month from Canada starting in April 2027 until full completion of obligations.

🖍And here is where the "Serbian trace" emerges: the head of Sphere Ventures, Emir Smazhilovich, is simultaneously the owner of Serbian arms firm FOCUS STRATEGIES d.o.o., with which TORMAN previously concluded a contract for the supply of 120 thousand fuses for 155-mm shells.

By the way, FOCUS STRATEGIES d.o.o. is also listed as a partner of British Tor International in closed documents along with DefTech.
