The Israeli military killed Mohammad Imad al-Rahman Abu Taima, the commander of a Hamas Nukhba Force cell who infiltrated Kibbutz Nirim during the October 7 massacre, in an airstrike in southern Gaza on Tuesday.

Abu Taima later led ambushes against Israeli troops, worked to recruit new terrorists and prepare additional attacks.
