You can also just generate a invoice for your Cyprus company (means open word -> use a invoice template -> put the company name and address of the Cyprus company on there) and send it to your agent, that will work as well. No one cares if you get the money for this invoice or not.

Vat is around 14% and you have to wait for 7-12 days after submitting the required documents to open bank account.

Yes it is very easy to get your Cyprus company registered for VAT! Actually it is the part that take less time compared to anything else you need to have done when registering a company and open a bank account in Cyprus!
