Cyprus bank account within 4 days...s**t that was quick..

Considering some of the posts I have read about it take ages to get a bank account opened in Cyprus I can report that I got mine today, just received the allocation letter that's within 4 days!

Some has to be lucky 😀 nahh, think it was‍ just the period where we applied that did it.

I'm considering opening an account with the big C as well. Long wait times for‌ account creation have deterred me in the past. This is definitely good to hear! Time‍ for me to reconsider if applying right now means a quicker opening. 🙂

I was able to get mine done in about just over a week, but to‌ be fair I made a mistake on two documents prior to making the application.

It was back in the old days not today any more unless you have a‌ bankers reference letter, clean documents and company structure not doing business with anything they don't‍ understand.

Still it can be done in a few days if you have your documents in‌ place and work cooperative with your agent 😉

But you can't get your codes and all that stuff within that time frame or‌ do you?

If you send your document quickly and same day as‍ you receive an approval from the cclogic guys you just need to send them by⁠ DHL or Fedex so it's possible to get it all done within 1 week.

I agree with curtlee, if you can make a fast money transfer (our fee to‌ open the account) and you can couriere the original signed documents by DHL or Fedex‍ same day, it is possible to open the account within 3 - 4 business days.⁠

Personally it seems that it took me 7 business days to get the account! Bank‌ confirmed Friday that I will get allocation letter Monday that makes it 7 days. It‍ took 3 days for the document to arrive in Cyprus!

It will totally depend on the banks work load or if they are in summer‌ holiday mode!

the 1st I applied for took 10 days I just submitted my application for the‌ 2nd let's see how long it will take. I realize things have changed over the‍ last 2 years!
