Hi everyone, where can I get more resources for crypto tax of expats that move regularly (every 1 or 2 years)? Lets separate the discussion into
- US nationality
- non-US nationality
and lets assume that the stay is long enough for me to become resident taxpayer in the respective jurisdiction. It is not easy to find this information on the internet. Thanks for your advice.

US citizens pay taxes over worldwide income. If you expatriate and become tax resident of a foreign country, you still need to report foreign income to the IRS and pay taxes in the US, taking as a credit any tax paid in the foreign country for such foreign income.

Thank you. So the benefits seems to be for non US national without a "real" job because once you have a job you automatically becomes resident taxpayer regardless of time stay in the country.
