So I spoke with the Master License holder in Curacao. It is strongly discouraged to set up a non-Curacao entity to operate a CW license and these are slowly being removed... Be careful what you decide to setup, it is possible you may end up with a double spend...

Do you have any link or something to a lawyer that charge this $9000 fee ? please poste it here, it's relevant so there is no need to consider it to be spam.
THIS IS A LIE!!! I dont believe these 2 fucking trolls. They are lying to you. One thing about Costa Rica is the lawyers are super shady and will try to up sell you on this worthless Data Processing crap.

So Nitehawk let me explain you something since you don't know NOTHIING about how does the license work, that type of license is given for call centers, since most books are basically a call center they get it as a way to operate and open an office in Costa Rica, is not a gambling license!!!! It seems you like to shout as loud as you can since you don't know anything. And my point is to let everyone know how it works, at the end if you really want to find an attorney in Costa Rica, you need to travel and do your research, you can post all the links you want it will not be the same.... I guess you should learn and read more before posting anything...

No data processing license is needed for a call center in CR and they way you sneaky fucks state is purposely ambiguous to imply something other than just a call center e.g. "The cost to obtain the license is $9,000 compared to $120,000 to $80,000 in many other countries." Who pays $120k for a license to open a call center?

There is law that regulates that kind of activity, the cost or fees you have to take it with a lawyer...but the fact does not change that is Data Processing and is regulated! 2. That there are offshore jurisdictions that charge $120,000 to $80,000 for the right to have a call center.
