Company Name

Hi,


I am looking for a name for my new company and had some ideas. After checking the internet, I found the same name in companies registered in different countries. I plan to use Seychelles but I found a company in UK, for example.


Is there a copyright problem? Can I use the same name? If yes, what happens if I do business in UK?

Usually there are no problems with such names as long as they are not registered‌ in the Seychelles. Only issue can be if the name is registered as an Trademark‍ TM.

It's quite easy to get an approval for company names for Seychelles companies. Never had‌ an issue also not with TM names.
