Hello guys, I'm about to launch a social media website about finance and trading.
The platform is only social (exchange of views) and simulated trading (like etoro simulator).
I'm not going to earn money in the beginning but just use a company to protect liability (copyright violations typical of a social media, liability if someone loses money reading information etc).
I just want to pay expenses with the money I will provide to the company.

Does anyone have any tips for getting started? For example, could I use a holding company for this site?
Or is insurance of some kind sufficient? Thank you.

Anyways it is batter to.incorporate your company in a prestigious jurisdiction where corporate taxes are 0%. I am suggesting Isle of Man and Gibraltar to chose from this two.

Does anyone think that well-written terms and conditions and disclaimers are enough to limit liability?

If you are entering into the relationship as a Limited Company it automatically limited liability and individuals are not liable unless they are using the limited liability option fraudulently to avoid liability.
