Only 25%? What did they tell you? What happened?
There is no one answering the‌ phone at the liquidator s office. Anyone had luck?

I think it influences if the bank asks for documents for‍ the funds, if the amount is under $100.000, I don` think they ask for documents.
Did your bank asked for documents for your funds?

Ohhh, thats why you were asking. They will for sure ask. I had everything sent‌ already , all taxes paid and I still got the email and had troubles explaining‍ everything.

Just for the information of all those who are following this thread: last Thursday (Nov.‌ 12), I received a letter from the Liquidator informing me of the impending payment of‍ my claim balance. The funds were credited to my bank account last Friday, about 24 hours later. No questions asked.

In my case, the total sum recovered amounts to 86.5%⁤ of the funds held by Choice Bank when it went bankrupt. I hope everyone here⁣ has been as "lucky" (not sure it's the correct word...) as I have been. @camelush: shall we keep in touch?

hello, are you both romanian? sorry to ask and witch bank did you both used? believe it or not the Coice Bank sent me⁤ the money (around85% of what i had) from the date of 30 october to alpha⁣ bank.So far, after almost 3 weeks nobody knows where the money are ! unbelievable! they even⁢ sent a email to alpha bank with the reference number of the transfer, they were not︀ return to the sender, neither in my account! is very weird! nobody can explain to me︁ where the money are!anyone had this issue?

Belize was never a trusted nation. After US govt got after them for hiding rich‌ Americans bank account it was simply crazy to put any money there for anyone. You‍ can't trust banks of any carribean nation simple as that. They are simply too corrupt.

It took two weeks for them to arrive after the transfer. It s a long‌ way, using many banks. Check with the liquidator.

received another portion of my money today, recovered 40% in total from 300K $

I have a higher amount to receive, like yourself, but my‍ local bank refused the transfer, can you tell, if is not a secret which bank accepted your transfer and if they asked for supporting documents?
thanks.

My bank refused the transfer on 12 november. Those who had the same problem how‌ solved with the liquidator? I give him emails but no answer ...

you mean, you received a payment from Choice bank but your local bank‍ refused to accept them? Have you tried to take the phone and call this liquidator?

If I were you I would hire a lawyer to make some‍ research in order to get in touch with someone responsible for the money.

That would be my next suggestion to him too.
