Choice Bank of Belize faces liquidity problems

it was difficult to get money out of there evern when the bank has no‌ any problems
i am afraid, that now it would be near to impossible to get‍ even a shekel from Choice

From 4 July 2018, the Central Bank of Belize has appointed Mr. Cedric Flowers to‌ replace Mr. Henry J. Hazel as the liquidator for Choice Bank Limited

I called them today. Talked to one of the Mr.Flowers representative team . Left my‌ contact info and they promised to contact me back with details on what to do‍ next .

My funds are stuck in my virtual balance with firtchoicepay ...I have 16k⁠ in there. FCP are out of business already shut down as we all know that⁤ and their website will be shutting down too in Oct this year.

Anyone share here⁣ if you already have taken legal action or if you have any info from Mr.Flowers⁢ and team.

Let's see how honest this country is and what's left on the bank︀ to give back to the ppl.

and i can't still believe no one has any news to share in this‍ forum wtf

I contacted them‍ almost everyday, the only answer I received was:

Thank you for this Claudia, at least they answered you. I will try to email⁤ them on the adress you posted and see if i get the same reply, or⁣ any reply. I have tried to find some information on Cedric Flowers, i wasn't able⁢ to find much but he does exist and he is a certified public accountant in︀ Belize unlike the first guy that was appointed as liquidator and got replaced after a︁ week. I do think that things will change, the problem is...the liquidation of a company︂ can last between 3 months and two years.

On july 2nd I called Ad Kees to the mobile that appears on his emails,‌ he answered and we talked about the situation, there he told me about the central‍ bank with the police on friday and that he was fired, he said that now⁠ we can try to call and maybe we can have lucky and give us an⁤ answer, and he sent me these emails for contact them.

He said he doesn't knw⁣ anything because he can't access to his emails, he is out, but he will not⁢ reject our calls, and will help in everything he can. He gave me a little︀ hope that we will have an answer and funds very soon because they have everything︁ for do it

Wow I never believed this to be a problem with a real bank. Last time‌ I have seend such trouble was in 2009 under the financial crisis!

Consider urself lucky. You ve missed out on 3 months of hell. There is nothing‌ you can do now. I say again..you are lucky.
