Chat Room at OffshoreCorpTalk good or bad?

We consider to setup a live chat for registered users at OffshoreCorpTalk. It will work‌ similar to Skype, Telegram etc. it is just integrated in the forum.

The options are‍ closed chat rooms (password protected) , normal closed chat rooms (1 on 1) and Group⁠ chat rooms.

Please vote to let us know if this is something you would find⁤ useful.

Because Telegram is not relevant for the forum, this is a integrated chat with the‌ forum.

Telegram would be really good, it's perfect for groups and is (somewhat) secure.

I think you should limit your chat room access to the mentor group. I‌ have some experience about communities and I can tell you that a chat room will‍ attract trolls, scammers and pretenders (liars).

Thank you for your input. We will not implement Telegram or any external chat system,‌ that will never going to happen, sorry.

@anotherone yes, we will limit it to Silver‍ members only (the former premium membership).

The live chat for Mentor Group Gold‌ members is now a reality, all Mentor Group members can use it!

So far it‍ is a early release so expect that we will do changes during the next weeks⁠ until everything works as expected.
