Why not just walk into the bank and deposit the cash? If it's a large sum, bring invoices and receipts. If it's a very large sum, call ahead and make arrangements. If you live in a small community, you may need to make appointment with a central branch.

It's not as convenient as it was 10”“20 years ago but it's still doable to deposit a large sum of money, if the source of funds is clean and legit.

can't you simply feed your bank account through ATM with deposit function? small chunks, max. 5k, works fine for me from time to time - surely depends on how big is your "problem"

just checked localcoinswap , they dont offer buying with cash , as I dont have bank account in UK becuase I am not res in UK.
