That's good, do you need a contact in the bank?

The basic setup can be done through the app. But to get higher level verified status without restrictions, I got someone assigned via their Telegram channel. She was very helpful. Everything was done via Telegram.

It's not a full fledged bank like Acleda but can be very useful.

I just got the account opened and verified in less than 30min.

For the moment international transfers need to be done one paper by a signed form, but they said they will add the functionality soon on the app.

Yes and when I requested inward remittance instructions, it seemed to go via a Singapore company and the account number required as reference.

Or one could top up via Huione Pay, which allows for crypto funding. Although they (Huione) seem to have lost their banking license in Cambodia recently. So not sure how long this will remain an option.

So they don't have direct correspondent relationships?

Transfers from and to Cambodian banks are instantaneous. And their Virtual Card worked on Amazon. Haven't had the opportunity to pick up and try their plastic card yet.

Using the account as a crypto debit card could be a good use case.

Any idea if they will ship their plastic card out of country? Or would a foreigner still need to go there to pick it up?

Out of these 4 which is the one most recommended to get?

For what I need, Visa and Mastercard make most sense. The basic card is only $6.

Also gives you access to the Visa Direct and Mastercard Money Send functions in their app, allowing you to send small amounts (I seem to remember something like $2500) to other Visa and MC cards of roughly 40-45 countries, incl. some European.

Shows you how it looks like in the app:

I suspect they also have a similar Union Pay card transfer facility as it is mentioned on their website.

You could have all cards tied to the same account. Also doubles the daily and monthly card limits. And being abroad if one gets swallowed or lost, it probably is a bit of a hassle to get a new one.
Acleda doesn't print them on the spot like ABA does.

They told me they do ship abroad. For shipment to Thailand I was quoted $60. And $10 for card issuance fee.

One can choose Union Pay and Visa. There is also a 'special' card for private banking clients.
