Abandoned houses are everywhere also in Germany, that is the best, cheapest an most secure solution to what you are looking for. Really easy to get about it if you take actionand don't just wait for a solution where you can keep sitting behind your sreen.

That's what I normally recommend. Better use apartment blocks in cheap areas. There normally is at least one empty mailbox you can occupy.

There is nothing legal about this. As mentioned, I would use apartment blocks in cheaper areas with high foreigner densities. That's where you are the least suspicious when you occupy a mailbox and then go fishing letters out once per week.
Abandoned houses are usually not a good idea as neighbours etc. will be alert. What you could do is use abandonned multiparty buildings where all windows and doors have been barricaded to avoid illegal occupation and just use the mailbox.

I don't really know where to start looking for abandoned houses, but the places I've found them usually don't have neighbors around to see anything. There are plenty of areas with houses set back from the road or out in the countryside where nobody notices a thing. You can just set up a mailbox with your name on it and wait for your mail to show up.
It's that simple. If you're worried about being recognized, you could always wear a balaclava.

That's a good one, totally normal now a days or if you live in China even more normal.
there is nothing to worry about if you find the house someone where far away from other houses. I pass at least 3 abandoned properties every day where it would be easy to setup a post box and a name.

If you drive out of the cities and into the countryside, the mountains, or whatever kind of landscape there is in your country, it's easy to spot them. The first thing to check is the mailboxes, do they have names on them or not? If you're unsure, you can observe the house for a few days.
I've also sometimes just put up a mailbox at a house and waited a few weeks to see if anyone took it down. In one case, it was removed, which I could note from my car while watching with binoculars.
Otherwise, this strategy works pretty well.
