During this fascinating process, do you have to surrender your original driver's license in Thailand/Indonesia, or do you get to keep it and have two driving licences; original and foreign?

Additionally, do Thai/Indonesian driver's licenses include a residential address in Thailand/Indonesia?

Also, are these legal conversions or bribed driving tests from scratch? Does Indonesia even allow conversion/test for non-residents?
