Best payment processor for Onlyfans-style platform?

I'm in the middle of creating a platform similar to Onlyfans.

(For anyone unfamiliar, the user visits our platform and pays a monthly subscription to the creator for access to their content. We get a percentage.)

Given the nature of the model and potential/likely NSFW content on the platform, I'm hesitant to use Stripe.

Although they process payments for Onlyfans, and many others as an exception to the rule, their TOS prohibits NSFW.


With that being said, our platform is starting incredibly small at the beginning, so we'll only be hosting and facilitating payments for 1-2 creators until we decide to add more.

Is there a payment provider or providers you would recommend that would be okay with this and process payments for this type of business?

I've seen Paddle, Paxum, and Checkout.com mentioned on a few different blogs but wanted to ask here

You could also make use of payment cascading . Use‌ 3rd party or build yourself to determine risk of an transaction and spread accordingly on‍ your providers.
