Banking for Remote Work Residence Visa - UAE

Has anyone had any experience in applying for new personal bank account in UAE with credit card under the new "remote work residence visa"?

You get an Emirates ID with it?

Otherwise no chance, non resident banking in UAE‌ is dead since 2-3 years IMO.

For credit card I would say even more difficult.‍ Unless the bank doesn't notice you're not living in the UAE.

Does that mean you can get a business credit card if you have a company‌ in Dubai, but you can’t get a personal account with a credit card even if‍ you have this setup?

you can get credit cards which are secured by time deposits.‍ You normally only get unsecured cards if your business is registered with the banks as⁠ being a real local business and you work for such.

Assuming you are living in UAE and have the relevant documentation,‍ Wio or MashreqNeo probably the easiest of the two options available for you.

Hi, I've seen people getting that visa and opening bank accounts. If one does not‌ genuinely want to start a business in UAE, the Remote Work is the best/easiest visa‍ I would say. Can't comment on credit cards though. Cheers.
