I am working in marketing and I get paid my CFD brokers like etoro (they also have real stocks) for advertising their services.
I asked all banks in my country and nobody wants to accept these kinds of payments even though I have proof of funds, invoices, contracts, the brokers are fully regulated in EU etc. Some banks told me this is a high risk activity.
Not even bank of cyprus accepts these payments.
The brokers don't seem to have any problems of this kind. They send me payments from banks like Barclays UK or other EU/AU/UK banks.
So what am I missing here? How comes that the brokers have no problems setting up bank accounts, but I cannot open︀ any because nobody accepts these payments.
I don't want to go to some noname offshore︁ bank.
Also I am not sure how my competitors found a solution to this problem.︂
How can I open an EU bank account for this activity?
Even Transferwise and Revolut︃ are against these types of transactions.
A solution I found is skrill (huge fees of︄ 3.9%) and bankera (I'm affraid of keeping to much money there).
