1kg Avocado Hass from Spain is in Germany 6,50€. Other types are 7-8€. No german cries about the price.
 
Well, keep in mind that Avocados‍ have never cost more than 2€ per kilo in Spain, and you can't even begin⁠ to compare the economy of Germany with the economy of Spain, so 4.50€ is extremely⁤ expensive for Spain, and that's just one of the many more examples of how expensive⁣ it's become to live in Spain.
 
I'm sure as soon as you retire‌ you'll be heading down to sunny Spain to drink beer by the beach and eat‍ "cheap" avocados

Groceries are expensive‍ while you get income taxed to oblivion. Makes no sense
 
You can charge more!

Most Spanish growers spend cents‍ per kilo of avocado they grow, they all have water wells so the water is⁠ free, pretty much everyone I know that has some land is growing Avocados these days.⁤
 
1kg needs 2000 liter water. Spain is pumping out the remaining groundwater and soil droughts are⁠ rising sharply. Also, many illegal wells.
