I've been making money online with SaaS for several years.
Don't try to invent anything new, that is too difficult. Just find something that exists and people need and do it better or more focused, and then market it. You will easily make money. How much? That depends on the service that you choose and how good you are marketing it.
Edit: to clarify, I'm a developer, so starting costs were close to none, but now I make enough money to have employees

if you provide value or atleast something people desire you will make money online.
Most important thing is working hard and keeping on track with your project/projects websites or businesses are rarely a magic bean that many people think will grow into the next google or amazon people like jeff worked around the clock till recently for that to happen he also got in the .com bubble at perfect timing.

Find something that people need, and that you enjoy working on. Then do it better than anyone else.

no. it's just fantasy but you are 21 years old so may believe so. keep in mind you wont focus to avoid taxes if you don't make money .
i used to make money online offering services on fiverr and made money from adsense but these days it is really getting difficult and more difficult
