Bankera is as shitty as other EMIs, with the plus that they ask for an application fee.
You should build a (fake) plain vanilla profile with supporting documentation, then apply with Blackcatcard and Bunq, it should go smoothly.

I already did that. But then eventually you still hit the same KYC and compliance problems when inevitably they ask about source of funds.

Provide also fake documents on source of funds: tax payment slips, contracts, bank statements etc.
