A list of about 150-200 banks/EMIs that are tracked, visited and tested regularly - how to make it public...

We keep a spreadsheet log with about 150-200 banks/EMIs that we track, visit and test regularly. We are considering making it public so more people could collaborate - just don't know how.

Well, we can think about it...

I am just a simple countryman. Anything I say is only a personal opinion, not a certified advice 🙂

If you think it makes sense, you can like it; if opposite, please, tell me, why I am wrong...

It would be great if you could share that spreadsheet.

You could use google spreadsheets or you could self-host Univer (if you are more into privacy)

Well, Google Spreadsheets are not a proper place for storing such a potentially sensitive information, in my deep opinion.

As I have mentioned, we can (and will) think in our moderators' lounge about whether it could be eventually done here under the umbrella of OCT... (It does not mean that this is the only possibility; and I am even not sure that it is the best option, it has to be dicussed.)

Can we use Priority Pass to enter this lounge too? I also installed Dragon Pass once.

Maybe, we could make a Wiki or something to share relevant information?

Not yet ”“ it is guarded by Ban Gnome and some more monsters 😉

But we will share and discuss the results publicly, of course.
UPDATE: I have just opened the internal technical dicussion.

Hmmm... a wiki is a good idea. Since nobody is willing to profit with this information, I believe many of us could collaborate. I will work on it! 😉

Hello,

I can share the current (intermediary) results of a moderator team discussion:

1) We agreed that the idea was good and we liked it.

2) At this moment we have not a clear concept how to make it working ”“ to explain, currently we are in the process of testing the major upgrade of Xenforo (forum engine) to version 2.2.3, to be able to migrate OCT to the new platform. The changes are mostly internal (you will not notice so much) but substantial, customizing is required. When it's done (probably in weeks), we'll get back to this and hopefully see some way, the new platform might be better for such a task.

Any more input is welcome here. Today I am leaving for a two week holidays, including i.a. a digital detox (there is no internet on a certain secret place 😉 ); when I come back, I will take care about this again.

If OCT accepts, it should be somewhat restricted. I'm unsure how, as this is NOT my circle of competence. Like, it should NOT be readily available to every Tom, DIck, and Harry that just got an account.

Wow offshore wiki is such a great idea, although it would be a pity if it was available to everybody maybe it should be limited only for people that contribute to it?
