    Israel vs Iran

What's your read on this conflict? How can it play out? What could be the broader implications and consequences? There is Jordan + Iraq standing between Israel and Iran, so unless the US gets involved directly, the full-scale invasion by either side should be rather unlikely. (?) What could...

How to get the easiest formal tax residency? My country asks me to be tax resident somewhere

I was part of this kind of discussion here on the forum a few months ago. I was also on the side of “you have to be a tax resident somewhere”. The truth probably is, it depends on the country of your citizenship and the country of your previous tax residency. Some countries like in the case...

Question Jurisdiction structure with 0-10% taxes

If you live in Cyprus, being a resident elsewhere does not strip you of the duty to pay taxes on pass-through income from a US LLC in Cyprus. The other question is. If your clients do have problem with payments to jurisdiction as Hong Kong, how different it would be if it is Singapore / BVI /...

Living in a territorial country like Thailand + LLC. Good idea?

I know some cases where they ask for the certificate from people with modest incomes, even pensioners (at least that's the case for PY).

How to get the easiest formal tax residency? My country asks me to be tax resident somewhere

Yeah, it could be them. Well, it is wrong. Of course, you can get RUC without permanent residency. It is actually one of the requirements to get permanent residency if you don't have a university degree.

How to get the easiest formal tax residency? My country asks me to be tax resident somewhere

I ask because I know one law firm that published this kind of "study" in 2022, after the new law was passed. I think they were just confused by the new law. They argued that it is impossible to be a tax resident without RUC (tax ID), and a tax ID is obtainable only with permanent residency. The...

How to get the easiest formal tax residency? My country asks me to be tax resident somewhere

It may very well depend on what officer is looking at it. The official requirements are: - Have RUC (tax id) - Have all your obligations with RUC in order. It mainly refers to have done all the fillings on time etc - Bring certification of your migratory movement (this also doesn't say nothing...

Question Jurisdiction structure with 0-10% taxes

Yes, they could. Do you live in Cyprus? If you have it only as a paper solution, get a residency in a country with more relaxed laws (Paraguay, Panama...), and you can work with a US LLC + BVI/Panama company setup.

How to get the easiest formal tax residency? My country asks me to be tax resident somewhere

It's more nuanced than PwC says. For you, the most important thing is we can get it for you, once you are a resident.

Paraguay could indeed be a good fit for you. You don't need to buy an apartment or establish a company, unless you want to. PY does not care about your foreign income, so your US LLC income is out of scope. The local banks are non-CRS. Tax Certificate is obtainable, even with 0 days stay.

POLL Who will be the next Pope?

I agree with this assessment, even tho most of the cardinals have been elected by the previous Pope. The waters have shifted. I hope the Church will follow. It will be easier to be a proud Catholic again with Sarah or Erdo than with some new Marxist. There is a good book written by a former...
