There are alternatives, that said, it is a good and cost effective solution to avoid most of the beginner issues to take a business offshore.

I confirm that sometimes the DTA can be a benefit rather than a negative aspect... what you are looking for is the loophole in the DTA's mechanism rather than looking at the DTA itself. Carefully structuring of your offshore company (group) may help you to know what I'm into here.

Depends on what business you are into, I don't believe that a Seychelles, Belize or even Panama corporation will hurt your business if you explain your customers what it is about. Some businesses would even appreciate it.
