If not mistaken, Lithuanian GDP per capita is 2x of Russian. In best case scenario, your statement is a stretch. Russian standard is along the lines of Bulgaria. Romanian GDP per capita is around 15% higher than Russian and it's among the lowest developed countries in EU.- MrPepper

This will not be solved overnight, but long run EU has learned the lesson and they will limit in the future how much and what they get from Russia. Short term, EU lose a lot, long term Russia lose a lot.- MrPepper

Most of them go to countries like Cyprus, Malta, Colombia, Thailand, Panama, UAE etc. None of these is remotely close to what has Russia become. Also, most of the people here, open offshore companies, but i'd say 90% of them conduct business on the west and make money there with those companies.- MrPepper
