Best country for a freelancer / digital nomad post-covid

Another one: A Thai citizen who does not hold other passports, does not have Thai income and remain less than 180 days per calendar year in Thailand will enjoy tax free life as long as he/she does not trigger tax residences elsewhere.

Best country for a freelancer / digital nomad post-covid

Sorry, but no. Some countries of citizenship do not require to be tax resident elsewhere to become non resident for tax purposes. France is one: you become non tax resident as soon as you don't meet the 3 criteria that make you FR tax resident.

Reducing taxes by cashing out every couple of years

What you are able to do in a mismanaged State like Thailand because there is only one single tax residence condition - staying at least 180 days per calendar year in TH - is not something I would try in any Western/EU country. Risk is high they will eventually find out, fine and tax you because...

Help For Tax optimization [ France ]

Need to account land tax that could be substantial for that big size land depending on location and if construction is allowed. If low land tax then you are in a middle of nowhere and you may die before reaching the next decent hospital. Out of that, yes peace, calm and space are definitely...

Thailand new change - world wide income at Thai tax levels to be taxed

Avoid home country/EU banks for large cash outs. Get offshore banking (SG,HK, potentially CH) to off-ramp crypto gains with Thai or 0% income tax jurisdiction address for CRS purposes.

Thailand new change - world wide income at Thai tax levels to be taxed

SUI at 30$? Hope you're right! In theory, capital gains realised (FIAT cash out, not sure about stablecoins) overseas while being Thai tax resident are assessable income when remitted in any further year regardless of the individual tax residence status at that time. In practice, I don't see...
