    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

Well USD is the reserve currency and all banks need correspondence account in USD. It has the largest economy and threatens banks all over the world as it is the most powerful country in the world today since the Roman Empire. A 200 year old Swiss bank had to shut down its door just because of...

    Second passport

You all need to look on YouTube for Andrew Henderson's new video why non us citizens need a second passport in 2021. It's informative. Basically he is selling his services but you need to watch the video and use anyone for services if you are wanting to save yourself from next wave of tax measures.

Govt looks for tax cows not your or mine's way of thinking. ;). Think why FATCA was cooked up not for tax evasion as told to general public. It was an indirect form of capital control.

Lol yeah I think BMI bank was also from Bahrain that is why I am sort of thinking it might be the same wolf dressed as a different sheep. ;)

Need to get money out of Nigeria to Europe.

I think everyone is getting tired of almost a year old virus now. But virus is not letting go with new more dangerous variation striking terror in UK and South Africa mostly. I hope it gets better for the sanctity of this world and we finally eliminate it but it might become endemic as...

Nevis or Cook Island LLC for basic proactive asset protection

It all depends on where you are keeping them too. Nevis is cheaper if you shop around but it depends on type of protection you need.

Hi is this bank AlSalam any good? I see they have nice credit cards with generous benefits but don't know how reputable is this bank as previously Barclays was the best bank in Seychelles. There was a BMI bank too that had decent reputation.

Nevis or Cook Island LLC for basic proactive asset protection

I think you need to give up your assets to this LLC under a trust for protection and that is the best way to keep it safe.

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

I doubt they won't allow you to renounce but they might make it harder, longer wait times with more costs. Well if you are getting an EU passport make sure they don't make this type of law as they are seriously considering this law due to their current situation. Then you will be like walking...

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

Exactly look at all of Amazon's zero tax havens they used for decades. We are simply nothing but they get away due to their lawyers advising them of all these loopholes US congressmen (tax law firms and lawyers advise them) design for them while we get the short end of the stick. Mitt Romney can...

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

Well let's see I doubt they will ever change the citizenship based taxation clause. Too many international attorneys and CPAs job will go away and their lobby is very strong so this is something they would never let it go. IRS does not collect anything out of it rather they are squandering away...

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

Other than facing issues with banks and brokerages I have no issues and I am complying with all their crap so I don't have issues regarding this matter. I hate to renounce as I feel as an American it's unjustified to renounce just for this matter. I can get a carribean or Vanuatu as second...

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

What effects me mostly is that they have made banks and brokerages declining my account due to this law. They have a full right to deny banking with this kind of messy law that US congress refuses to fix and makes banks responsible.

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

I doubt anything will happen as now I see a different news that Treasury dept wants to get info on all US expats renouncing to see if they have any unpaid taxes due or any compliance issues too in the past. Things are too crazy in USA and they are getting desperate like every other country is...

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

Dear I do support their efforts but truth is those outside USA are considered not loyal to the country, tax cheats etc and that is why FATCA effected those outside USA mostly and if you look at historical efforts it was Democrats who did this to us and don't want to listen to sound reasoning as...

    Offshore Banks Accepting Americans

:) if you do find one let me know also. It's very difficult for any reasonable bank to accept us citizens even residents in their countries. They need higher amounts to justify their accounts to their compliance teams
