Is Gold traded in the weekends?

I noticed that nothing happens in the weekends on the Gold price, is it the same like stocks ?

Yes, the wholesale market is closed on weekends. But you can still trade gold at commercial markets. BuillonVault, etc.

have been doing this a few months or so, was good, but BTC gave better ROI.

Gold is only traded on business days.
