If you actually read that "Human Events" article, you will see that the author suddenly cites a source (ProPublica) without explaining anything about that organization. So, you cite an article about democracy, which cites a liberal source funded by George Soros -- an evil man who has been destroying democracy in the U.S. for many decades. In fact, he is responsible for donating huge amounts of campaign contributions to radical district attorneys in large American cities, which has disproportionally contributed to a violent crime wave in the U.S. over the past few years. Soros has contributed billions of dollars to promote the rot, corruption, and decay of civil societies everywhere. Now, it is Ukraine's turn.pipona said:

A 2011 Fox News Opinion piece, "Why Don't We Hear About Soros' Ties to Over 30 Major News Organizations?" (updated in May 2015), noted that ProPublica "initially was given millions of dollars from the Sandler Foundation to “strengthen the progressive infrastructure” ”“ “progressive” being the code word for very liberal. In 2010, it also received a two-year contribution of $125,000 each year from the Open Society Foundations. In case you wonder where that money comes from, the OSF website is www.soros.org. It is a network of more than 30 international foundations, mostly funded by Soros, who has contributed more than $8 billion to those efforts."

this is a good wrap-up of the situation to my mind.
Again, there is no excuse for war in any case. Imperialism is dead, we are living in a globalized world and globalization is the only way for prosperity nowadays, I believe nobody will argue with that.

Those attack jets, meanwhile, strictly bomb pre-planned target coordinates, usually employing “dumb” gravity bombs. The VKS never has purchased large quantities of guided weapons ”” and probably couldn't do so, even if it wanted to, owing in part to the effect of foreign sanctions on Russia's acquisition of high-quality electronics.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/worl...an-portable-missiles/ar-AAV7XhC?ocid=msedgntpTom Cooper, an author and expert on the Russian air force, blamed low flying and gravity bombs for the loss of a Russian fighter on Sunday or Monday. “It was once again the practice of descending below the cloud cover that proved fatal,” Cooper wrote. This “is a bad idea” as long as the enemy has short-range missiles.
“However, it's something the VKS's crews have to do if it wants to bomb precisely, because its jets simply can't ”˜see' through the clouds and lack PGMs,” Cooper added.

No one is showing the precision strikes by Russian drones on Ukrainian forces or the captured/abandoned Ukrainian weapons supplied by west now in Russian hands etc etc .

You seem to be saying that to the people supporting Ukraine here, but have you seen what the Russian supporters are posting? The very thing you are talking about; "keep the moral of the side you support high and silence any news from the other side that is against your war interest".Martin Everson said:
Sadly western media is not doing any objective reporting or even pretending to. People are not being given a very balanced view of events. No one is showing the precision strikes by Russian drones on Ukrainian forces or the captured/abandoned Ukrainian weapons supplied by west now in Russian hands etc etc .
But I get it that during war time its important to keep the moral of the side you support high and silence any news from other side that is against your war interest.
This whole conflict is an eye opener. The censorship around Russia is fascinating and and an insight into how the west can irrational destroy its own values. The west can never lecture China or any other country about media censorship, press freedom etc ever again...lol.

I post an article about 10 people dying while lining up for bread. I tried but I was not able to find any proper excuse for that. Yet, I was immediately called for sharing an article from a "CIA funded" news site (Kiyv independent).

I agree people should look objectively. But I find it really hard to be in support of anything that Russia is doing right now. Due to their frustration of not being able to finish this as quickly as they wanted, now they resort to civilians which I find disgusting.

Andrei Kozyrev, who served as Russia's foreign minister from 1990 to 1996, said that the West and Russia will remain at odds until "Russian rulers start to behave within the international norms."
"I think when Russia comes back to honoring the international norms, and Ukraine sovereignty and territorial integrity is part of those norms ”¦ until they prove they are able to observe those norms, both inside ”“ I mean minimum of human rights, respect for freedom of press ”“ and in their foreign policy”¦ until that, there is no understanding, and the sanctions should stand," he said.
Kozyrev cautioned that Russia's aims include the whole of Eastern Europe, with intent to "attack, to pressure, to intimidate other countries, including members of NATO."

"He was, you know, my brother in the endeavor," he said, accusing Lavrov of moral and professional "degradation." "He was sharing my views ”“otherwise, I wouldn't have put him in this position and worked together." "I don't know why he's doing this," Kozyrev added. "He was a good diplomat and a good person ”¦ he was my friend."
"I tried my best to establish best relations where Russia belongs ”“ with Europe and the United States, most developed and democratic countries. I wanted to be in that club."
