I'm not 100% done yet but it looks like I'm scheduled to get my business bank account in less than 2 weeks so I'll start my review now:
Before I contacted
@Fred I checked all of his posts on this forum and I saw was that he is knowledgeable and has experience behind him. My expectation going into this was thinking it wouldn't work and that I might be throwing money away. I was skeptical about whether it would be possible for me to get a business account in Dubai but my thinking was that the risk-to-reward was asymmetrically in my favor so I decided to take a gamble.
I contacted Fred after contemplating for weeks. I talked to him via Telegram and explained my situation and after a little back and forth he explained whether my circumstances would permit me to get a business account. He was honest and didn't pull any punches. He told me exactly what would be required for him to take me on as a client and if I fell short of these requirements I would be wasting time.
After a few days of contemplating it I decided to go for it. Fred's company sent me an invoice which I wired money to. After the payment went through my free-zone company was set up and I had a visa to travel to Dubai. It all happened so fast, I was travelling overseas only a few weeks after payment.
I stayed at Rove hotel Healthcare city which was affordable and of decent quality. I strategically chose this location because it was 10minutes away from the health check location. Fred's driver picked me up at my hotel the day after my arrival to do all the necessary errands. In a single day I had my health check done and taken to another government office to get my Emirates ID. After 5 business days My ID was picked up by the driver and handed to me.
Initially I was first recommended a few bank contacts but the requirements for these changed over a weekend. This sounds crazy but it happened to me. I started to panic because of my high anxiety but Fred adapted to the situation and gave me an alternate bank contact. I did have to pay some supplemental expenses to make myself a viable candidate for a business account but it appears that it worked. It looks like I will have a business account within 2 more weeks and I am pleased.
I honestly feel that Fred has underpriced his services for what I am about to receive. I made his life difficult by second guessing almost everything he asked of me to do. I couldn't comprehend what I was doing was going to work but he reassured and held my hand the entire way. I'm grateful for that.
I would recommend his services to anyone that needs it and I would recommend they act sooner than later. From my own research I can tell that bank requirements are getting harder each year (and in my case, it happened over a weekend). After the pandemic goes away it will be much harder to travel around the city with the human traffic.
My personal advice from experience is to carry extra cash for expenses related to acquiring a business account, food and lodging. The more cash you have in your account the easier it will be to convince banks and acquire a business account (Fred will explain this). In my case I was cash poor but Fred still managed to give me solutions that worked. Using this as leverage I will probably use Fred's services in the future to open more business accounts if that becomes necessary. Remember to bring money, follow his directions and everything works out. You might have expenses external to his fee but these are nothing in the grand scheme of things. I would do it all over again.
Thanks Fred and sorry for giving you a hard time.
