Maybe Argentina! For now the unofficial exchange rate there means that︁ if you bring in hard currency (like dollars, Euros or CHF) it goes 2 or︂ 3 times as far as in your home country. And aside from Real Estate everything︃ in Buenos Aires for instance is incredibly cheap. You can get a 1st class steak︄ dinner for under $10. If you come in and stay as a PT (Tourist Passing︅ Through) you don't pay any taxes (as a resident) and there is only a small︆ fine for overstaying if you don't want to take a visa run every 5 months︇ or so. Crypto is widely used and accepted.

a country that is probably︁ the world record holder in number of exporpriations and defaults over the past 100 years︂ where banking system was on a standstill for years doesn't quite fall into my core︃ requirements of the respect of rule of law, stability or respect of private property....

I lived there recently for 2 years as a PT and found it to be a wonderful place... the Gov't left us alone and life was great (for me anyway!) Once you own real estate the holding costs (syndic & taxes) are about 5% of USA costs on a similar home or appt. If you bought distressed property at half of market price, like I try to do, Buenos Aires could be the place that Offshore dreams are made of. PT︀

I did have an idea of buying distressed real estate︃ there a couple of years ago. the financial system was so broken there was no︄ way to even get the money into the country to process any transactions. for me︅ a country where this stuff happens is not serious. good for you if you snapped︆ something, hope you get to keep/enjoy it.
