Is paying only 4k per year enough for substance to have a personal⁢ bank account. My plan would be to save on costs of forming and maintaining UAE︀ company using UK LLP with Transferwise instead. Can I only come twice a year and︁ pay 4000€ to have substance? I don't make a ton of money and with the︂ new remote worker visa I wouldn't need to waste money for a Dubai company. That︃ is if my plan can work.

I think it means UK LLP tax savings would work if you are not UK‌ resident. Previously I asked if I could use UK LLP and Wise but didn't specify‍ that I'm not a UK resident.

As a UK resident or any major ties to the UK could deem you tax‌ resident in UK then you are liable for income tax.

Dubai doesn't have any laws against you owning⁤ and managing a tax transparent company abroad while being tax resident there?

Cheapest Free-zone is SPC FREE ZONE located in Sharjah. It is less expensive that Shams!‌ Similar cost to a permit freelance!

What's the cost ?‍ I think the cheapest I found was Hamriyah in Sharjah last time. Maybe SPC is⁠ cheaper. Let's compare. Hamriyah is 11k AED license fee.

You need an open an account with about 250K minimum. Switzerland would⁠ probably be easier.

Your problem is Uncle Sam and not the jurisdiction.

UAE remote working visa‍ is now cheaper just to be a resident in UAE and open up a U.K.⁠ LLP company which does look better.

Well I think with a remote visa a personal account is possible as per my‍ knowledge but bank accounts in all these smaller free zones other than Dubai are not⁠ possible or very difficult to get nowadays.
