@bizniz, when you say you set⁢ the Dutch CV with an offshore company, are you referring to incorporating it with the︀ assistance of a service provider specialised in offshore matters?
Do you remember how much it︁ did cost to set up& run on a yearly basis?

If I wanted to start︂ an investment fund/hedge fund, do you see any advantage/disadvantage between the Scottish limited partnership and︃ the Dutch equivalent --beyond ease of opening a bank account?

Good idea, use the UK LTD - will work well for︃ most test projects

It is a completely dumb idea. Not only will you have‍ to register a branch in your country, but you also waste a ton of pounds⁠ for compliance in the UK. And if the business is successful, you end up paying⁤ taxes in the UK for years to come. Please guys, set up a sole proprietorship⁣ in your home country, it is cheaper and won't cause troubles afterwards.
