Yes it’s not ideal but also getting a surprise “inspection” with a 3 day deadline⁣ under the threat of a 30,000aed fine is not great either. They literally sent me⁢ the email on the 22nd of December and wanted it submitted by Christmas Day wtf︀

I don’t argue at all that a 3 day deadline⁤ is an unacceptable situation. But is there any information on actual cases where fines were⁣ imposed for failing to submit documents on time? I’ve only seen one comment in this⁢ thread about a fine threat when DIEZ somehow failed to notice that everything had been︀ submitted on time. As I remember, they started threatening 4 or 5 months later. Maybe︁ I’m mistaken, but to me, this looks more like an attempt to pressure the company︂ into sending reports quickly, a scare tactic rather than actual sanctions.

Did they change this to a 3 day deadline now?⁤ It was like one month in 2023 and two weeks last year.

Yeah it’s 3‍ days, same for another member here who got hit in late December.

My favorite part with the inspection was that 10 minutes after submitting the documents, I‌ received an email that I had passed their inspection...

Not possible within‌ that time frame. It all feels like a checkbox exercise and an opportunity to level‍ fees.

It could also be that they opened the doc and just skimmed through, made⁠ the assessment that given the length and presentation, all is well... But your take is⁤ as good as mine.
