Where did you go for that ? Every place i went to was⁤ overpriced like hell, lowest i found was 7-8 euros and it was a well hidden⁣ spot lol...

Clearly need to explore further next time lmao

Isn't it just like living on the French Riviera, but with no︅ tax. Doesn't sound too bad. I mean if you lived in some other place on︆ the Riviera, like Menton or Cap d'Ail or Antibes or something, you wouldn't need to︇ limit yourself to the 2 square kilometers closest to your home right? You'd spend a︈ lot of time outside those 2km2.

And the French (and Italian) Riviera is pretty nice.︉ Better network effects than a Caribbean island, larger cluster of people, more cultural events and︊ things to do, better access to health care and amenities, and possibility to visit the︋ rest of Europe easily.

If you go as a tourist you don't know places. You can go to Paris, London luxury⁤ 5 start restaurants. Everything is overpriced. The same prices as in Monaco

You can go⁣ to Casa del Caffè Monaco. As I remember it was 2-3 eur per good coffee⁢
I think there is around 100 restaurants in Monaco. So lot to choose from

Also if you go there as a tourist on Gran Prix they change Menu for tourists!︀ You don't get real price

Yes it is. But︈ the same in French Riviera. Good quality is not cheap thing

Hope this help about cost of living

Dubai6.703,500

Wanted to say the same thing. There is no way‍ Monaco has €10+ Big Macs. It's pretty much the same as France and Carrefour prices are just a bit pricy but nothing overpriced

There are Native Monegasques that aren't millionaires... 30-33% in Monaco are millionaires. Don't think everybody‍ here has 7 figures. The natives are getting massive aid from the government.

I'm simply comparing France's prices, nothing else.

This thread is not for native Monegasques. If you are considering relocating to Monaco and are concerned about groceries prices you have a problem.

Concerned?

Can you understand my last sentence?
Is English difficult for you?

No. I've been there once. I also watch documentaries in French

No, I don't understand what French grocery prices have to do with relocating to Monaco, I must be retarded.

Yes your sentences are too complex for me.

I am a plastic surgeon, because I watch “Botched” on tv and I've even had Botox once.

I can confirm grocery prices are way more higher in Caribbean than in Monaco.
Monaco prices in supermarkets like Careffour, U marche, Casino are the same⁤ as in nearby French.

It seem an Espresso is 5 EUR and a Tea will set you back 8 EUR.
But it is Cafe de Paris, after all, so you should expect to⁤ pay that.

Agree about that, it is extremely boring, everybody that lives there is︂ sad and alone - as evident by the fact that everybody in the street is︃ walking alone with a dog.

If you like living in a place with 90% rich︄ widows/divorced ladies that can't even move their faces due to so many plastic surgeries, then︅ Monaco is the place for you.
If you like actually nice friendly people and interacting︆ with people that are not rich assholes, then you will suffer every minute there.

The only reason it still survives is because people want to be able to say "I︇ live in Monaco" as if anybody is impressed by it. Just take the 8k/month rent︈ you would pay and buy a nice watch with it, you will make the same︉ impression without having to live in a sad 50m2 jail. Every single person I know︊ that lives there is flying away every 2 weeks as it just becomes unbearable.

P.S. It's great for celebrities as the safety is really paramount, and papparazzi is illegal.

A possibly bigger issue than grocery prices is that, apparently, to maintain validity of a‌ Monaco residency permit, one must reside in Monaco for at least 183 days a year.‍

Bit annoying to be locked down like that. Wonder what happens if one owns a property in Monaco, spends 4 month there, 4 month in say the Caribbean and 4⁤ months in Asia every year.

I disagree with everything you said
If you︈ have money then Monaco is paradise.
It is safest country on earth. You can buy︉ your own home. Live independently and whenever you get bored, you can go to France︊ or Italy have fun..
I personally just need to live in safest country and I︋ don't need to impress anyone.
Nearby gym and it would be more interesting for me︌ to meet with old people with experience who had successful careers, business, and learn from︍ them. It is much beneficial than hanging out with 20 years old crypto millionaire.

Yes so many rich expats live‍ in Trinidad and Tobago. Why not in Honduras, Haiti, Cuba or Venezuela?
I think many people in this forum are not bag packers 🙂

Monaco for 183 is not a problem (spring, summer, autumn), but you︂ don't have to stay 183 if you have enough substance (home, car etc etc)
Winter you can stay lets say in Dubai or Caribbean , why not?

I don't understand︃ people here. Ok, Monaco is so borring why then it has over-demand of properties there?︄ Why so many people want to own and live there?

Actually it's one of the richest countries of the region. Many expats there.

I chose a developed economy, but you can instead use for comparison nearby Grenada or St Vincent, same result. Or the Dominican Republic if you want to see real cheap prices and drive to the supermarket in your Ferrari.
