I think everybody that wants more freedom in the world has a dog in this fight. Statists need to win everywhere, we just need to win in one or a few places! If you have one or few more places in the world with high personal and economic freedom, low taxes, small government, these attract capable and freedom loving people and investors and entrepreneurs︀ from the whole world - increasing the freedom and propsperity for everyone.
As these places︁ get prosperous they also have the side effect of showing how misguided all the big︂ state, socialist, lefty ideas are.
Amsterdam and the Netherlands in the 17th century is the︃ classic example of this by the way. Spain, the dominant power at the time, cracked︄ down hard on individual and religious freedom, didnt accept anything other than very strict catholicism.︅ Spain among many other things besieged and crushed Antwerp which was a major trading hub︆ - so all the capable merchants, shipbuilders, bankers, etc that couldnt stand the oppression of︇ Spain fled to the newly independent Netherlands and specifically Amsterdam. So what happened, the Netherlands︈ - while small - flourished in terms of innovation, art, seefaring, banking, trade etc, and︉ became a dominant nation on the world stage, while statist Spain went into decline.
We need more Netherlands basically, it's really important for the world as a whole. (And we︊ already have some, even if partly flawed, like the UAE, Monaco, Switzerland, Singapore, and past︋ ones like US in the 19th and part of the 20th century, Hong Kong before︌ China took over)
