What's the point of opening onshore/offshore corp. if we have EMI?

What's the point of opening offshore corp. if we already have EMI?
I mean if we just need to get payments from companies and cash out why people still need to create company? isn't the EMI enough?

Because you get an additional layer of privacy by setting up a company that is going to setup the EMI or bank account. People that only hold private EMI accounts for business purpose risk account freezing and much more.

There is a general lack of privacy in EMI's and banks and as @darkster states, the company provides additional layers of confidentiality and complexity to the situation to provide privacy.
