Video verification, darks will work?

Not sure how this works , can someone with experience share their views , I am sure for video verification any company will want to see your face and hold up physical ID To match the details you have already provided?

It is actually not a problem to pass the video verification with darks. You must use your own picture on the darks.

Yes that is correct. They will never ask for the original as it is now. The whole point is that the verification is digital that's where the loophole is.

So do you want to say that for example LeuPay will acknowledge video verification with me on video holding scanned copy of my passport? I doubt.

believe it or not but that's how it works. It is pretty much straight forward process. Put your photo on fake docs, submit them and go thru the video verification and you have an approved account within a few minutes.

Using own picture seems incredibly risky. Have you tried Amazon Rekognition? I wouln't be comfortable leaking my face especially as this technology will inevitably mature. Wouldn't the approach you suggest be secure only if you can find someone else to pass the video verification? Are you aware anyone trying to disguise themselves as their dark details? This would fail facial recognition software but I don't know if these verification service use it or rely on humans.

The main issue for any authority that may or may not find out is that such document is stolen and manipulated. If you do you work right you can at any time say it is identity theft so it wasn't you and you don't know anything about all of this.

You can't do that if you sit a home using your Internet connection.

But if they record the video of you holding a fake document with your face photo-shopped onto it, wouldnt this be slam dunk evidence of you doing the deed?

Well in the case they record it and they ever find out of it, yes it could be a problem. However, if they record your conversation they must make you aware of it otherwise it is illegal.
