US Military attacks Venezuela, captures Maduro

The U.S. military took Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro into custody during an attack that involved a "large-scale strike" in Venezuela early Saturday morning, President Donald Trump confirmed.

The president wrote on Truth Social that the operation was successful and Maduro and his wife were "captured and flown out of the country." Trump said the operation was conducted with U.S. law enforcement and added that a news conference will take place at Mar-a-Lago at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

At least seven explosions could be heard in Venezuela’s capital city of Caracas early Saturday morning, according to The Associated Press, and low-flying aircraft were seen flying over Caracas at about 2 a.m. local time.

There is no “rule of law”. There is only the rule of whoever has more muscle, badges, and guns.

Russia takes the useful part of Ukraine.
China annexes Taiwan, after the US repatriates what it considers strategic companies.
Europe gets illegal migrants.

Europe will have to play catch-up if it wants to be of any relevance in the future. They've already been sidelined several times (think of the Russia-Ukraine negotiations). If we continue like this, we'll become the laughing stock of the world. It's effectively already an American vassal state.

The European Union is an institution without any future regardless. Only economic cooperation between a number of powerful European countries perhaps has a future.

It's too late: Europe is doomed. It has no resources, no more colonies and it's stuck in a distant past. Money is finished. Unfortunately, Russia has no interest in it.
It can only make plans as the world's amusement park and open air museum, possibly trying to preserve Christian monuments from the Muslims' destruction fury.
Europeans will be lucky if they are allowed to escape. Remember, freedom of movement is not such an obvious right.
