It's reality for millions of Chinese already. 15 min cities with borders and checkpoints between neighbourhoods. You need to have vaxx pass + sufficient social credit score to cross the border. Covid was just a dry run. With CBDC and carbon credits it will be possible to control everything. If you cannot buy fuel or tickets you cannot go anywhere.
Where is that in China those checkpoints? There is already a while no checks or requirements in China. Although social credit score is a reality, I have never heard of anyone affects and even most Chinese don't know about it,︀ so let's not exaggerate things.
