I have 2 questions about the company setup and opening bank accounts. I'm looking to set up an Amazon business in the UK. I have a UK passport and currently live in different countries for the past 5 months. Previously I was a resident of Belarus. Not living in the UK for the last 3 years.
Basically, I am a dual national of the UK and Belarus. What would be the best setup for taxes and banking? Is it better to open a UK LTD by myself as a UK resident (provide UK passport and UK proof of address) or a UK LLP with another UK resident partner which I should be able to find?
For banking, I can provide my UK passport + can show proof of address in the UK from the bank statements that I have. Would banks find out that I do not live in the UK and close my account in the future?
I do not have plans to move to the UK in the future. I am considering getting a residents permit somewhere like Dubai for tax purposes.
Please advise.
