I wish to set up a Limited Liability Partnership in the UK that would mainly invest in securities with a US or UK broker. I am a non UK resident . Is it possible to set up the operating agreement , in order not to fall into the definition of a collective investment scheme (CIS)? If so, with whom should I communicate in order to get this done? ( I have contacted 8 company providers, so far no one answered).
