I know that when you set up a corp in most countries, your name (as the UBO) is included on that nation's public registry (often accessible by general web searches, etc.)
Are there any nations left where a UBO's nationality is not included on the public corp registry?

I have a client with a fairly common western name (ie, John Smith), so having his name as UBO on a public corp registry is not problematic -- only having an identifying/corresponding nationality is (for privacy purposes -- not for anythi g nefarious or illegal.)

Yes, most offshore companies offer this. You can just use Marshall Islands, etc.

Thank you. Yes, that is what I am trying to determine: Which specific jurisdictions have a publicly-accessible register (via google, etc.) and it shows the UBO first/last name, but no other identifying information (UBO nationality, etc.)

The Marshall Islands is one? Do you know of any others?

There are plenty off offshore jurisdictions that are like this. But they are normally not that interesting as you won't be able to get good banking.

I know that Switzerland is possible with an AG. I think for the EU, there is now an UBO register coming, where details will be accessible, not sure where they also list nationality.

Germany has a public registry where only the name is shown and the residence city, see www.unternehmensregister.de.

There are 246 other jurisdictions to check. Really depends on what you want to achieve.

It seems there are always EMIs somewhere who will give a corp banking / payment services, so I don't think that will be the problem. I think the issue is more trying to figure out which nation's (especially outside the EU/US) do not force its registered companies to add UBO nationality for public consumption.

That is good to know about Swiss AGs. Thank you! Hopefully there are others...

If you're unable to find the right country you could appoint simple nominees either, fake, homeless guys or as pointed out here and alsoby eliasit back in time, Swiss AG can hide the infomation fro mthe public.
