Turkey property?

Hey guys!
the property market in Turkey is in a downturn which is not the worst time to buy. Does anyone has any experience in Turkey?
What to look for -> short term rent in holiday destinations or proper flats in Istanbul.
From developers or from secondary market.
Through realtors or better get a lawyer.

I appreciate any tipps.

I am a Turkish citizen living in Turkey.

These people are crazy and there is no democracy anymore.

I advise you to purchase real estate from USA (Better ROI than Turkey) and collect the rent. And there is a rental insurance which means in USA if your property is not rented you take the insurance compensation with no interruptions of vacant times. And in USA property managers handle everything.

You can pay the rent in Turkey from USA rental income. Only risk that if this government is thrown away USD in Turkey will decrease as your rental from USA increase too. Economy will prosper if current government leaves.
