Given that Trump just officially won the US elections and I did not see a thread discussing it yet, I was wondering about your opinions.

Yes same as Zelensky....

I couldn't foresee any other outcome, even with the accusations of fraud in the voting process. Trump is, without a doubt, a far stronger candidate than Harris. Personally, I believe there's potential for positive change ahead. In the end, though, I'm approaching it with cautious optimism. Politics is still politics.

Will the presidency serve him well? Absolutely.

Will it benefit us? Well, I'm not exactly in Trump's inner circle, so I'll have to wait in line and see. That said, my crypto portfolio is looking great this morning, so things are off to a good start. 😉

He has won the popular vote and the upper and lower houses if numbers are correct. He is emperor Trump now and free to push through any policies he wants within the law. I am not worried about Trump but what powers he will bestow on Elon Musk etc.

Trump and Musk want to create a ”˜government efficiency commission'
Trump said in September he would create a “government efficiency commission” first proposed by Musk, whom Trump said agreed to lead the new task force.

EU's trade war nightmare gets real as Trump triumphs

I can see China, Ukraine and EU all shaking in their boots. Trump got nothing to lose in his final term now. You can be sure he will aim for short term trade gains at the expense of trading partners.

The way it has been predicted in Germany, it will do significant damage to the German car industry, so Germany risks falling into an even deeper recession. BMW, Mercedes, and VW will all become American-German.

Exactly. After pissing of China with EV tariffs China responded with Tariffs on large combustion engine cars from Germany. German automakers make the biggest margins on luxury car sales to China. China brutally targeted them where it will hurt most. Now with potential US damage with tariffs the candle is being burnt from both ends for them....lol. Trump is gonna shake things up for them.

German horror show

Trump has singled out Germany, and its big car exporters, for particular spite in his trade tirades ”” which were lent fresh fuel by figures published on the eve of the election showing the U.S. trade deficit with the EU on course to hit a record this year.

Germany's main industry lobby, the Federation of German Industry (BDI), was apparently so stunned by the U.S. election result that it issued a statement incorrectly attributed to “BDI President Donald Trump.”

“Transatlantic relations are facing an epochal change,” the BDI said in an updated statement, citing its head Siegfried Russwurm. Trump's tariffs “would massively damage not only Germany and the EU, but also the U.S. economy.”

That sounds like a good idea; the guy sacked 80% of Twitter staff and looked at what happened. Musk is a big threat to their.... bureaucracy,

Predictable outcome, despite all mud-washing, woke media, assassination attempts, criminal convictions etc.

Democrats failed completely with President Biden in his mental capacities reminiscent of Soviet rulers from late Brezhnev. And Harris, if won, could have shared the destiny of the last general secretary Gorbachev with all that pointless liberal show rof/%

However, we all know president-elect Trump, most likely, will have quite volatile administration and government, prone to his personal likes and dislikes, as it used to be during 2017-2021. So there is no clear idea how he'd be able to effectively govern and what portion of his peace plans, economic agenda, migration policies would materialise by the end of his term.

Sad day to Democrats and woke agenda spreaders. Good day for Republicans, since they now have a full house, in any meaning of that term.

My balances looking good today, cant complain.

Additionally I'd pay grown man amounts of money to troll libs on Reddit... and now I have it for free lol

I like it all, some more then others...
