Transfer GBP from Channel Islands to USD in USA without remitting to U

I am UK resident non-dom remittance basis. I have offshore funds in GBP in the Channel Islands. I want to transfer funds from my Channel Islands account (GBP) to my USA account (USD) with a more favourable exchange rate than what the bank will offer. Can anyone recommend a FX / money transfer provider that doesn't require the GBP funds to be deposited into a UK situs bank account (as this would then be a remittance).

1. Try to negotiate with your bank
2. Many online brokers exchange funds for 0.5% fee so you can use the broker for exchange and then wire to the USD account

Was my thought as well but if he remits GBP to Wise he has to use the details of the UK Wise entity and he try to avoid this.

Wise is accepted in the Channel Islands. Therefore his account is domiciled in his jurisdiction.
