Anyone has experience with tax structures for Thailand as Thai tax resident? Originally I am from Poland, but I moved my center of life to Thailand, and I am 180+ days here.
I heard that US LLC is pass-through entity, and it seems unbelievable that you can just don't remit money to Thailand and pay 0 tax on foreign income. I talked to 1 tax advisor, and he said that as long as I work from Thailand for my company abroad, it should be taxed in Thailand. Maybe he is wrong, because I never heard that someone got problems in Thailand by not paying tax from offshore business.
In case US LLC is 100% owned by one person, it's treated as sole proprietorship, right? So I see it a bit risky in case Thai authorities will want to get taxes from all digital nomad with this structure or just verify your source of income.
Is it safe, or is there any safer option that is lower risk?
Btw. I am willing to pay if you know someone capable of advising. I am freelancer making around $6000-$10000 monthly.
