Hello, I am currently preparing an iGaming service. We are setting up our company structure with an Anjouan license + a Belize corporate (for holding the license) + a Cyprus subsidiary (for EMI), but I am uncertain about the tax structure.

All transactions and funding are managed through the Cyprus subsidiary, which is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Belize corporation. I am curious whether the taxes are levied based on the parent company in Belize, or if both the subsidiary in Cyprus and the Belize corporation are taxed.

If you structure the arrangement correctly, the Cyprus company only pays tax on a very small portion of what passes through it. Just make sure you have all the paperwork in order. Your lawyer/accountant in Cyprus should be able to help with that.

The Belize company is probably tax resident wherever you live, though, unless you have genuine substance in Belize (or somewhere else).

This is the probably the answer to your question.
