If I have a seychelles based offshore company and develop a drink in the UK, so have the formula and bottling and packing all done within the UK do I have to pay VAT on purchases (e.g product formulation, bottlin, labels) and do I have to put VAT on all sales? (selling to shops, supermarkets, cash and carry)

I don't have a UK bank account in my company name but would have a bank in cyprus/caribbean. I've read something about setting up a trust and wanted to know how would that work and would would I have to do in order to open a trust for a seychelles company in the UK

Thanks

Well, the Seychelles company can't be registered for VAT so it can't charge VAT nor should it be invoiced VAT.
