Hello friends


If you decide to get scanned, choose your facility wisely. Scanning centers can take certain measures to limit radiation exposure, such as timing the scan with your heart-rate cycle (which cuts radiation exposure by 25%) or using a low-voltage scanning machine (which cuts radiation exposure by almost half).I'm thinking about getting a CT scan to screen for heart disease. Is it worth taking the radiation risk?
